The first official project meeting took place in Barcelona during the 8th and 9th of November. Representatives from all the partners and also the project officer discussed their plans for the first 6 months and presented their ideas for the project.
The second consortium meeting took place in Weimar during the 15th and 16th May 2012 along with the Aviation Advisory Board (AAB) meeting. The meeting was hosted by the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar (BUW) and Professor Dr. Bernd Froehlich. In this meeting we discussed future scenarios and identified the application areas and technologies which could be in future aircraft interiors.
The consortium held its third project meeting in Mykonos hosted by ICCS on 26 - 28th September 2012. The meeting marked the end of our first year of the project. We discussed the achievements of year 1 in defining the context and scope of VR-HYPERSPACE in terms of the future of flying and Passenger 2050 and beyond. A workshop was held to agree the experimental phase of the next 6 months.
On Monday the 10th of October, the first official meeting of the Project VR-Hyperspace took place online, where the communication tools for the partners were presented by the Co-ordinator, the project's handbook and website and finally the potential project logos.
